Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program

The Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program provides short-term, practical and emotional support for people living with severe mental health challenges who are not currently supported by the NDIS or state programs.

The program focuses on building confidence, strengthening community connections, and supporting personal recovery through individual and group-based assistance.

Participants receive recovery-focused support aimed at:

  • Living more independently and safely
  • Improving wellbeing and quality of life
  • Connecting with community, work, or study opportunities
  • Reducing stress and the need for hospital or crisis care.

No formal diagnosis is required — only a willingness to engage in recovery and personal growth.

For more information or to make an appointment, please call 1300 991 443.

You can also submit a referral to the program.

Centre-based and outreach services are offered from  CharlevilleCunnamullaRoma and St George, and cover the Far South West, Maranoa and Balonne regions.

This program is funded by the Commonwealth Western Queensland Primary Care Collaborative Limited (WQPHN).
