The Rural Family Counselling Service provides counselling and support to families with dependent children aged between 0 -18 years. Support can be provided for issues including grief and loss, social isolation, relationship problems and parenting.

The aim of the service is to build on existing strengths, increase the emotional capacity of family members, by developing healthy coping strategies, emotional resilience and self-esteem of individuals and family members. 

Counselling sessions can be provided face-to-face or over the telephone.

Centre based and outreach service offered from Charleville and Dalby.

The outreach service can be provided to those living in Augathella, Morven, Mitchell, Wyandra, Cunnamulla, Tambo, Quilpie, Thargomindah, Jandowae, Bell, Crows Nest, Merigandan, Cecil Plains, Yarraman and Cooyar.
