Supporting Children after Separation

This service provides counselling for children from separated families who may be experiencing issues related to the relationship breakdown of their parents.  These issues might include conflict between their parents, alternating between households, or moving to new schools and neighbourhoods.

Counsellors work directly with children, either one on one, or in a small group of children of similar age.

For more information or to make an appointment please call 1300 991 443.

You can also submit a referral to the program. Please note that parental consent is required for a referral to this service.

This service is offered in Toowoomba.

This program is funded by the Department of Social Services.

Lifeline Darling Downs also offers Family Counselling in Toowoomba and Rural Family Counselling  in South West Queensland.
